I'm 43, I have dark brown hair, should I keep it long or short?

My hair used to be very thick, glossy %26amp; silky. But as I grew older it's thin %26amp; a bit dry. I think this is all cuz I dye it every month to cover my grey hair. At present my hair is a little bit above my shoulders since I can take care of it %26amp; blow dry in few minutes. My kids like it long since I look better in long... What shall I do? What hair-style is common for women my age?

Not to be rude...but if you have a small thin face...i say keep it short..it will look really cute on you...but if your face is more round or heavy..i would say grow it out to middle length...as far as the style goes...i think people should wear whatever they like...i only think the length should be the major issue for diff face shapes..buuutt thats just my opinion.

Why worry what is common for your age? Embrace your individuality. If you like it long then grow it long.

If it is thinning watch your diet. If it is dry try an olive oil deep conditioning treatment.

Perhaps you can grow it long but keep layers that way you have the best of both worlds.

Cut down on the dye (cos it will dry your hair) or find a better dye with some vitamins/nutrients etc.

Use hair conditioner and blow dry with not too much heat
