My husband is complaining I've the same hair style for too long...

What do you think? Should I change it, and if so, what would you recommend?

You should do something sophisticated, because I think that as women grow older, being laid back makes you appear older rather than more youthful. If you do decide to grow out your hair or keep your length, do some long layers so that it creates movement in your hair, but don't overdo it. You should make your bangs look less blunt and more shaggy, and grow it out. A shorter, sophisticated bob that might work would be the Sandra Bullock one that I have a link for below. I think you should darken your hair a bit, especially for fall. I think the Jennifer Aniston one below might be good too.

Well since it's so thick it wouldn't be a great idea to cut it too short, but I'm thinking maybe like up to your chin, and get choppy layers for a more funky look.

i think you would look amazing with a straight bob. if you aren't comfortable with straightning your hair, or blowdrying it every day, just let it grow out.

i think that a light chesnut brown would look really pretty on you, because it reflects light really nicely and has some blonde in it still. good luck with whatever you choose :)

its definatly time for an updated look. i would go to a trusted salon and tell them that you want a totally new style, something updated. and they can see how your hair is cut now and what would work with the lenghth and texture of your hair and then let them go from there.

i LIKE that hairstyle maybe grow out your bangs and sweep them to the side. or do that style where you gather your first layer of hair and gruop it at the crown of your head. YOU WOULD LOOK REALLY GOOD WITH THAT STYLE.

grow the top out some and get a full side bang and make them whispey on the end no blutness. roots are in by the way stay away from hot rollers. a little staighter look will not hurt you and neither will a side part. i wish i could get a hold of your hair i would turn it all around.

I think the length of your hair fits your face perfectly. The only thing I would change is maybe the colour. I don't know if you want to change the colour of your hair or not. but the second I saw your hair, I thought "Wow, she would look really good as a brunette!" Also, have you ever thought about growing your bangs out? Don't feel like you have to listen to me or anything, I'm just giving suggestions.

Since you asked I think you definantly need an updated look. I would go to a salon where there are young hairstylists and tell them you want a hair makeover. Tell them you want something completely different than what you have currently. In my experience hair stylists love to have that kind of freedom. You are blessed with thick hair so you should be able to get something really cute. Maybe the sharon stone look?

You could try straight hair with side swept bangs. that is really in right now. I highly recomend it.
