Long hair tips?

Ok my friend has long hair down to her butt. its not in the best condition but her parents wont let her cut it (long story with no way round it). Any ideas on how to style it she normally ties it up but it starting to break at the roots because of it.

use granier frutis sleek and shine, i have long long hair and it works great. then she should be able to tie it up with no problem.

Why don't you put it in rollers and curl it, becomes shorter and there's plenty of curly hairstyles to expermient with.

Its real old fashion but brush it 100 times in the morning and 100 times at night.Also try asking tour local salon for a product that will make yr hair healthy.Try useing a deep conditoner once a week. It might be expensive but salon products are always best way to go!!

Try to do french braids. They're cute and it would look really goo with long hair. And you could change it up by adding a head band or tieing ribbon at the end of each braid.

Invite her to a slumber party, then while she is asleep hack chunks off...if there are a few of you, you can all claim it wasn't you.

When hair is that long it can be very heavy and so that makes it difficult to style! Something that might be fun is to have her braid it before she goes to bed. When she wakes up, she can take out the braids and she'll have wavy hair for the day!!

Nothing will help the condition except for a good haircut to get rid of all the dead ends. So if this isn't an option then I'd recommend a good leave in treatment for the ends.
