Long Hair - nothing to do with it!?

Hi. I have long hair and I would like to start styling it in different ways, but I know nothing about styling it or how to. All I can do is put it in a ponytail. Does anyone know any easy ways of fixing up long hair? Or any book or website reccomendations?

That way, you can get a bunch of different hairstyles. For instance, if you put it in a ponytail it might curl.

Use a straightner to make it really straight with no flyaways. Curling iron is great for the bottoms, then flip your head upside down... use hairspray to make it stand out a little. If you cut the pieces of hair around your face to chin length... it kind of defines the face more. Victoria's Secret has a hair gel called so sexy... after you wash your hair put that through your hair and scrunch it up... and let it dry that way... and you have sexy loose curls.

When you take your next shower use a LOT of condition,rinse it and brush it,let it dry it look soo sexi i always use it like that,if you want you can cut it on layer and with the condition it look great

well one thing you can do is try different kinds of ponytails. move it higher or lower or to the side. pull just a little off the top of about the top half of hair into a half ponytail, then if you want pull it all together at the bottom so youve got a double pony going on. You can put it in a high ponytail but when you put it up, dont pull the hair all the way through the last loop. leave it hanging in a loop 'messy bun' kind of thing.

experiment with braids! you can do all sorts of stuff with those too. right now im trying to practice french braiding my own hair. its hard but very possible to learn. if im not looking to put it up all the way i like to just do a little braid straight behind my ear, or make two little braids, one on each side, that go from the front to the back and tie with a little band in the middle. it makes a cute little braid tiara.

i wish i could give you more ideas. im not really that great with my own hair. those are just a few simple things i like to change it up a little
