Long vs short hair?

i'm thinking of cutting my hair. right now its rather long and i've been growing it for years but i feel its time for a change. i'm trying to change my look up a little bit and i'm thinking of cutting my hair somewhere along these lines or maybe an inch or two longer but definitely this style (http://dandelion.punt.nl/upload/bob.JPG)... right now this is what my hair looks like (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v482/L...

my hair appointment is tomorrow afternoon. should i go through with it or not?

among my friends and family i've had a mixed reaction. some are supportive and think i'll look hot, but others just shake their head at me like i'm being stupid. they think my hair looks great how it is, of course they, just like i are used to seeing me with long hair. but i want a more mature, modern and chic look. what should i do?

Personally I like longer hair over short hair, but honestly I have to say that what ever looks best for your figure and face is what you should go with and only you can really answer that. If you cut it and don't like it, it will always grow back, but you never know you may like it. Being a woman you have all kinds of options when it comes to covering up a bad hair cut so if your really are up to it I say go for it!

if it's really long... it probably needs some good ends. don't go drastic. just cut some of it . and see how you like. then if you want it shorter, go next month an get it a little bit shorter. and so on. the drastic change will kill you.

I think your hair looks really good as it is. I don't know, I'm just not feeling the new style. But now's your chance to switch up your hairstyle a bit and it can grow back before school starts if you want. You'll always wonder what it would look like if you went through with it, are you the type of person that likes to live with regrets?

ok the picture that you want your hair to be like isn't working for me, I can only see the picture of you. The link to your desired hair says something about it being a bob, which is really short. If that's the case I'd say DON'T DO IT! You have gorgeous long hair (I'm sure you hear that all the time) and you also have a round/circular face, which doesn't tend to look good with short layers that fall at chin length- it just makes your face look shorter/wider. Why not try trimming your hair just a few inches and adding more layers into your hair now and seeing how that works out? It'd be a different look without being too drastic. Trust me, if you immediately chop off your hair you'll miss it (been there, done that...) Take it slow and gradual and if you like it shorter than you can get there eventually without regretting it.

What ever U decide cause U gotta like it no one else as 4 myself I perfer long hair cause as a kid My Mom always kept it short %26amp; if I cut it I only trim an inch or 2 lol.Good Luck

Hey---I would have to agree with the people who are saying to keep your hair as is, because, though it's good to have a fresh style, I think going that short, is a big mistake. A couple years back I got a bob, and regretted it horribly. My hair i now back to its original length and I am SO glad.Your hair is lovely, DO NOT CUT IT!! Also hair thats short can sometimes poof very badly and then you have to flat iron it a ton [thats what happened with mine because i have very thick hair]

I love your hair! If your going to cut it at all, just take a few inches, and maybe layer it in that style where its a little shorter in front, but don't get that hideous layering everybody has these days.

By the way, I love your shower curtain. I wish my bathroom had a shower curtain as classy as yours.
