Ok, I have been growing my hair for about 4 or 5 months. Before me trying to grow my hair I use to always just shave it almost down to nothing. So now that my hair is gettign pretty long from what I use to have it I have questions.
One is I have been pretty patient for some time now and I believe my hair is about 3 inches, so I was wondering, since I am impatient, is this a good length where I can add extentions to make my hair look longer?
Does having extentions hurt your hair and scalp?
How much does it roughly cost to get extentions? I want my hair to be at least 6-8 inches long for the type of hair style that I want.
How long does it last before I guess I have to replace the extentions?
What is the fringe? I am guessing the front part of your hair line???
How do I keep maintenance of it?
General hair care 101?
You need about 2 inches of growth to get extensions. Since you have 3 inches allover, extensions might not be the best option because you can see the glue. Have you considered braids or a weave?
The glue does hurt your hair, they are expensive. I had partial (not allover extensions) under my top layer of hair for $500. If you use high quality hair and if you are using alot of it, it can be even more expensive.
You can't wash your hair all the time. Don't know what the fringe is.
Maintenance is like your normal hair. After you hair grows a bit more, I would just cut them off.
